Work cohesively with staffing and recruiting teams to ensure superior service to all clients. Extensive temporary sales experience is a plus.

General Construction Laborer

Position Summary: Miscellaneous physical labor tasks requiring considerable physical stamina, e.g. unloading trucks, pouring and shoveling sand, cleaning sludge from waste water filter drains. Must be able to report to work immediately; work locations may be anywhere in Augusta, Georgia, not always on bus lines, and vendors insurance must be able to cover temporary employees being driven to exact job site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for the entire length of the shift and position includes walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Education and/ or Experience

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

1-2 year related experience preferred

Position Summary: As a Recruiter you will understand job needs and develop “ideal candidate” profiles. Duties include coordinating all aspects of recruiting, selection and hiring of new employees; tracking and monitoring, developing public relations to improve recruiting and retention effectiveness; performing special projects; preparing and submitting reports; building sourcing strategies; providing excellent customer service and building solid working relationships with our client and GPS leadership to ensure all staffing goals are met

-Experience with the staffing industry is a must

-Cultivate relationships with great talent for our high volume client

-Provide pre-qualified candidates who are the best match for the assigned positions through active ongoing recruiting efforts

-Phone screen candidates for availability, interest level, and basic qualifications
