Production Machine Operator – Paperstation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Able to explain / identify all sources of energy (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, gravity)
  • Has prior knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out
  • Read blueprints, work from layouts and dimensions on drawings to perform assigned tasks
  • Load, align and operate machines per drawing instructions
  • Can adjust equipment to accommodate slight variations in incoming components
  • Verify proper operation of vacuum system and monitor screens for blockage
  • Operate mill, lathe, drill, automatics, hone and lap, numerical control equipment and burr efficiently and safely
  • Utilize micrometers, vernier calipers and properly use standard mechanic hand tools
  • Weigh ingredients to specific quantities using calibrated scales and balances
  • Able to obtain and apply proper torque specification for all fasteners on unit
  • Monitor machines for problems and troubleshoot problems
  • Check raw materials for quality and quantity ahead of loading into machine
  • Prepare raw materials to be loaded into the machine
  • Prepare tooling for changeovers and perform machine changeovers
  • Follow production instructions of supervisors to ensure quality
  • Interact with Quality Department / Management
  • Carry out basic calculations with aid of a computer and calculator
  • Follow written instructions and batch instructions
  • Maintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and high standards
  • Complete relevant documentation
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work area

Position Summary: Requires forklift certification on the stand-up, sit-down, or both. Summary: Oversee the day to day activities of all employees in a manufacturing facility. Direct staff; organize and monitor work flow. Production Safety Lead

Position Summary: involves motivating members of the production team to harness their potentials and work safer for the execution of projects. Give associates specific directions and procedures to follow in safely carrying out assigned tasks. They monitor associates in the course of their work and ensure that they maintain a safe working environment while adhering to all safety standards of the client site and GPS operations. Provide safety leadership and guidance to all members of the production team.

  • Demonstrates knowledge the QAP for line specific
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the site safe practices from the HS&E books
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the OPL’s, JSA’s, Job Aid’s and Safety Maps specific to the line
  • I&I’s- Familiar with Incident Investigations and reporting to the Supervisors
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the importance and maintaining the housekeeping specific to the line according to the 5’S Standards
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the identifying defects and the processes that follow
  • Able to Identify and correct all safety hazards and infractions
  • Able to provide discipline for any procedural infractions to the associates on the line
  • Demonstrates knowledge of where to look up the chemical hazards
  • Familiar with the locations of the eye wash stations for line specific
  • Familiar with the Evacuation routes and emergency procedures for line specific
  • Ensure that all PPE requirements are being followed on the line
  • Demonstrates knowledge of all the E-Stops, Pinch Points and Trip Hazards in the area
  • Demonstrates knowledge of all the positions and requirements for each job on the line
  • Ensures all associates have the required training specific to the job requirements
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the Pedestrian/Forklift safety
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the LOTO procedures for the line specific (Can certify associates on LOTO)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of completing a BOS observations for the line specific
  • Ensures the Rotation for the line is being followed
  • Monitors and ensures the break times of the associates on the line are being followed as directed
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the Forklift train the trainer for line specific (Can certify forklift drivers)
