Staffing Recruiter

Position Summary: As a Recruiter you will understand job needs and develop “ideal candidate” profiles. Duties include coordinating all aspects of recruiting, selection and hiring of new employees; tracking and monitoring, developing public relations to improve recruiting and retention effectiveness; performing special projects; preparing and submitting reports; building sourcing strategies; providing excellent customer service and building solid working relationships with our client and GPS leadership to ensure all staffing goals are met

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

-Experience with the staffing industry is a must

-Cultivate relationships with great talent for our high volume client

-Match candidates to the opportunities that are right for them and coach them through the hiring process

-Support ongoing relationship / partnership with hiring leaders, candidates and clients

-Provide pre-qualified candidates who are the best match for the assigned positions through active ongoing recruiting efforts

-Phone screen candidates for availability, interest level, and basic qualifications

-Generate high quality candidates under very tight timelines and for skills that are needed repeatedly

-Possess excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills

-Prioritize meeting tight deadlines while keeping an eye on details

-Experience working in a team environment with a strong client focus

-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job descriptions

-Ideal candidate should be strongly self-motivated

Computer Skills: Must be computer savvy proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) proficient use of online meeting programs. Previous internet experience with job boards, job posting and networking.

Education and/or Experience

High School or equivalent education (minimum)

Some college preferred

3 years related experience as a recruiter preferred

Previous HR and public speaking experiences a plus
